Top Ten Friday : Best- Dressed Oscars Evah

Things are a little out of sorts (shocking!) here in Loomis & Long land. Long is out of the country hopped up on margs (happy National Margarita Day!)

. . .and Loomis is on day 13 of feeling under the weather with pneumonia. BUT fear not, the Oscars are here in a mere 48 hours and we couldn’t pass up the chance for our fave topic – the RED CARPET!

Loomis’s Top Ten of Oscars Red Carpet Best-Dressed as follows :

1.Kicking things off in 1975 (ahem, Loomis wasn’t born yet – just sayin’) Lauren Hutton looking stunning in a rainbow Halston and fur! #goals

Lauren wasn’t the only one turning heads in ’75.

2.Hello, Audry Hepburn, you darling stunner.

3. Fast forward to 2003 : I LOVED this Valentino on J. Lo.

Perfect for late-night canoodling. #neverforget

4. One of two shining stars to make this list TWICE, Michelle Williams’ first big win on the red carpet in 2006 in custom Vera Wang. Swoon.

5. Always a pink fan, Natalie Portman in Rodarte circa 2009 is a forever fave.

6.Who could possibly forget this perfection? Michelle Williams wearing red Louis Vuitton in 2012.

7.While we are on the topic of red dress/red carpet perfection in 2012 – how about Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli?

8.Not red, but white hot, also in 2012 . . . Queen Gwynnie in Tom Ford.

9.Emma Stone strikes again in Elie Saab in 2015. Not many could pull off this green number but it works flawlessly with her skin tone. Bravo.

10. And my all-time favorite gown (so far) is Lupita Nyong’o who quite literally takes my breath away almost every time she steps foot on a red carpet. She outdid herself in 2014 in this custom Prada perfection.

I think we are due for another fabulous gown on this list! Cannot wait until Sunday. Who are your all-time faves?

The 91st annual Academy Awards airs THIS Sunday. Here is everything you need to know.

I think you might suspect who Long and I are rooting for.
