We lost a legend over the weekend. Hubert de Givenchy died at the age of 91.
His creations were never ever boring and I could blog for dayyyzzz about them. But let’s focus on his magical friendship with his muse, Audrey Hepburn, for now.
It all began with Sabrina . . .
1961 (Breakfast at Tiffany’s)
I LOVE them.
He said of her . . .
and penned her a book . . .
And she said of him . . .
Givenchy’s clothes are the only ones I feel myself in. He is more than a designer, he is a creator of personality.
Read more about their fashion love affair in this book.
RIP – may you stroll through the Paris of the sky, wearing stunning hats & being fabulous together forever.
