Since Long snuck in a maje Holy Cross brag yesterday, I feel compelled to one-up her with some WAC shout-outs AND some other random fall discoveries I am fired up about.
I just learned that the geniuses behind the delish amazing organic dressing, Tessamae’s, are WAC grads. Laxers, obvs. How amaze is their story? I guarantee this 2 minute vid is worth the watch. And if you haven’t tried this Paleo-approved, Whole 30 endorsed yumminess – what are you waiting for?
I love this quote I ripped off of “oldest brother” Greg’s insta.
Preach!
And if any of you know me or have followed my last 87 blogs (ADD) you may have heard my claim to fame – that I smooched John-John at my WAC graduation. #brokenrecordalert
JFK, Jr. was our commencement speaker – only one he ever delivered. He was promoting his magazine George and stealing the show in every way imaginable with his indomitable charm and very smooth skin. RIP.
Okay, so I was pretty distracted blacked out for most of my stint at the WAC so enough about what other greatness emerged from that fine institution, besides me and the hot salad dressing dudes.
Let’s move on to my latest obsession –
I adore clothes, especially for little girls and have thoroughly enjoyed the task of shopping for C & P since they were in the womb . . . until recently. My twin daughters are turning NINE next week. And they are very much intent on establishing their own identities and styles. Which I give them props for but it makes shopping for and with them a complete nightmare slightly less enjoyable.
Enter Rockets of Awesome.
I’m OBSESSED with their branding and concept and execution. BRAVO!
My girls had SUCH big fun choosing their fave colors and styles and are super excited to receive their very own customized boxes that shipped this morning!
I just did a pretend run-through to demonstrate the process for you all using George. And I made him a girl.
You pick sizes, then colors . . .
Then colors they don’t like to wear . . .
It’s true, George won’t wear orange or leopard or plaid. Diva.
Then they send you a preview of the goods (and you can switch out what you don’t like!) I kept it all and I am DYING over the cuteness and cannot wait for the girls to open. Do you want a sneak peek?
Different – but equally awesome. I’ll share the rest once once they arrive!
Here’s the skinny.
And just for fun . . .
Looks like they left off Loomis & Long and Frenchies but I’m still down.
We think the founder, is pretty awesome, too!
YAY! is right!
Here’s the link to launch your rocket of awesome!
Speaking of twin daughters and Georges – my last shout-out goes to the Bush girls, who’s first book dropped yesterday to rave reviews.
I just ordered my copy. (Speed reader Long probs already finished it) Get yours here! And check out their tour dates (most are sold out already!) I cannot wait to hear what these girls have to say. I’ve been pretty smitten with them since they penned this letter to my fave first daughters.
Those are my fabulous fall finds for you! Now go put your awesome-prenaur pants on and rock this rainy Wednesday!
