Stop and Smell the Rosewood

Who’s sick of hearing everything Loomis & Long have in common? No, stop, don’t answer that! One more thing . . . for today.

When we were booking our Dallas adventure we realized we both had honeymooned at Rosewood Resorts.

Child Bride Long was at the Rosewood Little Dix Bay

And Child Horseface and Loomis were living large at Las Ventanas al Paraíso

So we obvs decided to book the Rosewood Mansion at Turtle Creek for our rendezvous to the Lonestar state.

And a mansion it was!

We felt a bit like we were creeping in someone’s palace. Decor was tradish and it was quiet . . .

but lovely.

But quiet.

We did quite enjoy the bar where Loomis had a life-changing experience. There is no doubt in our minds, God wanted Loomis to meet the goat cheese stuffed olive dirty martini. (which she promptly spilled due to overwhelming excitement)

WHY had she never tried this before? Genius.

Also, it was fun washing up togeths like college besties (who are we kidding we never washed our faces in college).

BC EVERYWHERE, OBVS!

(Stunning, really)

We are going to hold off on visiting again until the new construction and fabulous pool is completed but thank you for your gracious hospitality!
