I am (not) Malala

But I wish I was as bad-ass at this amazing girl preferably without getting shot in the face.

My second grade daughters recently had a biography project at school.  They spent months studying a historically significant figure of their choice.  First up was Charlotte and she chose Malala Yousafzai.

We chose from our Rebel Girls book Screen Shot 2017-04-24 at 8.16.25 AMbecause we are cool like that – btw, it’s back in stock!

Research at home included watching Malala on the Ellen Show. I dare you to watch this without being a better person at the end.

Charlotte had a lot to say about Malala and I apologize to the audience as this ran a tad long.  (zzzzzzzzz) Here are the cliff notes for those of you who were not there.

Thank you Malala for setting such an amazing example for not just my girlies but for everyone.

If you’d like to learn more about Malala’s story, her book is well worth the read . . . She is unfathomably enlightened and we can all learn a great deal from her courage, intelligence & kindness.

Now get out there and channel your inner Malala.
