A few more things that I love that happen to be green that didn’t make the cut on top ten tuesday, for no other reason then my ADD.
First off, I’m mildly obsessed with camo. I don’t know why. I think it stems back from my older brother and his friends LIVING in them in 1985? I don’t recommend wearing all camo all the time (I do have a good story about me running around in a “borrowed” ROTC uniform in college but let’s save that for another day)
Speaking of swooning . . .
The Masters (T – 18 days) Green Jacket – and the men who wear them. I always watched the Masters growing up. I love everything about it. It reminds me of my beloved Gramps (golfer extraordinaire) and him shushing me as we watched together.
My fave part was always when the winner hugged his family at the end. *happy tears* (and because I was allowed to talk again)
There’s soooo many golf legends I could feature here but I dunno let me just pick one
because I’m obsessed with him at random.
Totes random. If you want your own green jacket for Masters viewing look no further than our trusty J. Crew.
I also forgot to mention my fave drink (which is safe to attribute to Gramps, as well). The extra-dirty Martini. I crave them. And I would marry one if I could. In an ideal world, I would be a polygamist with dirty martinis, Adam Scott, and camo . . . I digress.
Also have a soft spot for pickles, especially in martini form. I’m going to have one
or three Saturday night at local gem, The Blue Ox, and I cannot wait.
THEN, next time I’m in NYC, I’m going to hit up this joint.
Maison Pickle – Can you stand it?!
I found a small sampling of my martini intake, both of the olive and pickle variety, on instagram.
Which brings me to my last point about green for the day.
It’s the freaking Pantone color of the year, folks.
And that’s . . .
*ba dum dum*
Seriously tho – decorating with green is huge. I have it in every room in some capacity. Obvs (romper room over here)
I love Erika Firm‘s take on the color of the year.
Some glimpses in our own home . . .
My fave fabric Schumacher’s Chiang Mai In Jade. And wallpaper by Anthro both have shades of greenery in them.Wait I spy a teeny bit more greenery – I just put this wallpaper in the kitchen! (PS. It’s a little “O’Keefish” on the walls
that’s code for it looks like vaginas but still stunning)
And, while I was stalking my own insta I came across this gem from my sweet C.
I might love it more than my imaginary polygamist lifestyle.
And get ready to get your green on for Flashback Friday, St. Patty’s style, on Loomis & Long tomorrow. Yikes.
