What Long’s Wearing on Christmas Eve

I’m holding down the fort here at L&L while Loomis has some exciting goings on at Casa Crawford.  More to come on that soon!  Although we are decidedly not a law firm, partnership does have its benefits.

Being that my kids are going to be home from school in about 15 minutes (only a slight exaggeration), I’m whipping together a little something on what I’ll be wearing on Christmas Eve…and what I might be wearing if Santa comes a little early.

When your best friend gives you the most fabulous faux fur bomber for as an early birthday gift, you have to revolve your outfit around it.  Locals, there may be one left at Coquette.

When one of your other besties gifts you the tee shirt you have been dying for all year, you might as well add that in too.  Plus, it’s a conversation starter.  My dad and brother should love this one.

Those of you who follow me on Annie Beauty Chic will remember the gold skirt stories from last Christmas.

Well, I just remembered I wore it on Christmas last year, so it can totally be worn again this year for Christmas Eve.  (For the record, I strongly believe in buying statement pieces or classics and wearing them to death.)

I’m a bit conflicted on shoes, and it may come down to weather.  My trusty J. Crew heels would be gorgeous, but let’s face it, it’s probably going to be effing freezing. (Great deal alert, they are now $59 at J. Crew factory!

I like the rugged look of my schlep around boots.

Or I may even just wear black booties.

Ruby lip gloss…and boom!

Now, if I’m off the naughty list (doubtful) and Santa stops by early with some gifts for me, that would change everything.  I would wear this little darling from my homegirl Tory B.TOBU_caspian_bow_blouse_silver_0194_1024x1024 (1).jpg

and these showstopper, but still appropriate for Christmas Eve heels.  They are now sold out at Saks, but I know Santa has the right kind of connections to get around that issue.

Last but not least, this Clare V. clutch is darling.

I believe in Santa!
