Yes, every Tuesday or even every day should be a giving day.  But today is a great reminder to give back this holiday season.  Pretty much any organization you support will match your donation today, which is awesome. So if you are planning on giving back this season, make sure to reach out today.

A local organization I am particularly in awe of this holiday season {and all year ’round}, SPUR, still has about 50 local children that still need a sponsor for their bundle of cheer drive {they had over 420}.  Click here to sponsor a child.  I think having a specific child to provide gifts for this year has really hit home with everyone in my family.  Especially considering most of the gifts they “want” are warm winter clothes and other things we might take for granted.  Humbling, to say the least.

Also, Whole Foods in Swampscott is giving back 5 percent of their sales to SPUR today so great excuse to get to the grocery store! (because if you are anything like me, an empty fridge isn’t ever always enough inspo)

Other fun ways to tie in giving with a gift . . . for the kiddos. . .

and for the “grown-ups” . . .

My friend Christine is a cause entreprenaur over at OneHope wines . . . every one of these glittery gorgeous bottles feeds 15 children in need.

I’m also loving their holiday gift offerings.  A couple faves . . .

At ONEHOPE, your furry friend never has to feel left out with our Pinot for Paws Woof! Gift Box. One of our best sellers, this delightful doggie offering dishes up a bottle of our California Pinot Noir for the faithful owner, along with the ever-popular tennis ball, super-fun canvas fetch bone and cotton rope tug and toss toys, and gourmet Tail-Waggin’ treats — all specially selected just for your loyal companion. But that’s not all! Every purchase of a Pinot for Paws WOOF! Gift Box helps a shelter animal find a forever home. Now that sounds like a win-win for everyone!

Show your favorite girl you remembered her special day with our fab birthday party in a box. She’ll love this yummy birthday cake-shaped cookie, especially paired with a bottle of ONEHOPE’s crisp, fruity California Brut Sparkling Wine—complete with a “You’re a Gem” bottle tag—all amid a sensational swirl of brightly colored tassel garland, “Peace, Love & Party” balloons and confetti from The Flair Exchange.
Every box provides 5 meals to children in need.

I know a certain December birthday gal that claims her birthday historically gets overlooked – well, get ready, not this year, Long!

happy giving!
